I am working on a new project designing two posters for a non-profit organization called Global Alliance. This organization is known world-wide for promoting world peace and a healthier environment. When I was told that I would be designing a poster, I was hoping that it would be a movie poster or something like that. However, when I learned that I would be designing this type of poster, I knew that this was going to be a challenge for me. Regardless, I will try my best to make this poster look as professional as possible and hope that it will inspire its viewers.

I’d like to make the poster reflect something positive about the world rather than something negative. It sounds easy enough, but it’s pretty hard once you actually start working on it. I looked at some professional posters and I saw one poster where a little girl was running towards a lake to swim in sewage. Another poster I saw showed a guy surfing in the ocean filled with oil barrels and dead fish. Those posters were well designed and well known in order for them to be placed in the Graphis Annual Poster book, but the problem is that they represent how the future will turn out if we continue to pollute the world, which is a negative image and not what I am supposed to be designing. I have to find a way to design something that shows a clean environment and/or global unity.
